OUR BLUEFIN TUNA IS ECOLOGICAL AN SUSTAINABLE

Bluefin Tuna JC Mackintosh meets the environmental standard for sustainable fishing. This is certified by our Sustainable Fishing Seal of Approval MSC. This ecolabel makes it easier for the consumer to trace it and to be able to choose the best environmental option when buying seafood.

Our extraction system, the GreenStick®, does not need to sacrifice another species to catch wild bluefin tuna, we use synthetic baits that we reuse over and over again. In addition, due to the stunning process using a small electric current, the wild bluefin tuna is not stressed, and therefore, by not generating lactic acid, we ensure that the flavor of the meat remains unaltered, guaranteeing the highest quality of the products.

In our case, we also apply Ike Jime to all our fish, bled and cooled immediately, therefore we obtain meat with all its organoleptic properties intact.

Our shipping and packaging material is purely 100% recycled in origin. We love the sea and the environment.
